Child Mental health Respite Provider
We have multiple children waiting for Respite Providers. We are flexible with how we schedule respite. You can take one child every other weekend for $1100 per month OR two children and work every weekend for $2200 per month. Some families want fewer hours and this can be worked out at the time of hire or with the child’s family. This work is typically very laid back. It is not skill or goal teaching. It is providing a home-like setting. The children are in Oskaloosa, Albia, and Ottumwa, but we cover mileage for picking up/drop off. Kids can stay with a provider for years once a working relationship is established. The co-founders started Happy Home Services by taking in CMH children for years. OTTUMWA HAB HOUSE DSP- day & Night shift available
Direct Support Professionals are required to have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, experience in the mental health/caregiving field, complete needed trainings, and basic computer skills. DSPs work in our provider-owned homes with individuals on mental health, life skills, and social goals. Along with providing specialized support, you will be required to complete daily service documentation, transport members, collaborate within a team, and with outside providers.
Starting off at $17/hr. Quarterly bonus eligible.
Floater Position- Community & Hab House/Day Hab- All service locations
Same requirements and job description as DSP. Work with individuals in their home, community, provider-owned homes, or at our Day Hab office locations. Would have an assigned monthly caseload and fill in as needed; potential weekend hours as needed. This position would cover all Hab/ID services. Perfect position for someone who enjoys being on the go, having flexibility in their schedule, and thrives in different settings.
Starting off at $17/hr. Quarterly bonus eligible.
